Training for a triathlon? Wednesday OWS will start at 6pm at Jamesville Beach. These weekly training sessions will be Sprint Triathlon nights with a single wave water start. Participants will swim two, 400-meter loops before transitioning to the bike. There will be 4 certified lifeguards providing safety and rest, if necessary. The swim course will close IMMEDIATLY after the last swimmer is out of the water. All participants will transition to the bike for a 10-mile ride followed by a 5k run. All Sprint triathlons will be timed and tracked weekly and published.
Please arrive early for required check-in.
Wetsuits: Always optional based on individual preference. (So too are Fins, Swim Buoys or any other aid that will not impede or interfere negatively with other swimmers, personal safety and the safety of our lifeguard team.)
Water Temperature: Historically, early summer season temperatures can be in the 60's with mid-season highs in the mid 70's. Plan accordingly.
