Training for a triathlon? Saturday Open Water Swims are ideal for participants training for 70.3 and 140.6 distances. There will be certified lifeguards and a well-marked course. Participants are encouraged to cycle and run afterwards.
Please arrive early for required check-in @ the Upper parking lot, near the maintenance entrance.
Wetsuits: Always optional based on individual preference. (So too are Fins, Swim Buoys or any other aid that will not impede or interfere negatively with other swimmers, personal safety and the safety of our lifeguard team.)
Water Temperature: Historically, early summer season temperatures can be in the 60's with mid-season highs in the mid 70's. Plan accordingly.
Note: All sessions are subject to cancellation due to dangerous weather, water or wave condition.
